Here is a list of the main collaborators that I have been working with in the past couple of years. Please follow their links should you wish to know more about them and their work.
Howard Fesceymer: working on the reproductive physiology of Lepidoptera, with a focus on agricultural pests.
Mikko Frilander: working on post-transcriptional gene regulation in various eukaryotic model systems, particularly focused on pre-mRNA splicing.
Ilkka Hanski: primarily population and community ecology and in conservation biology
Jim Marden: working on the physiological ecology, functional genomics, evolutionary ecology, and behavior of insects.
Jay Storz: working on the functional genomics of duplicated genes in mice
Kalle Trontti: using molecular ecology tools to study population structure, dispersal, mating patterns, and the evolution of obligatory social parasitism among ants.
Heiko Vogel: working on chemical ecology, specializing on functional genomics of plant insect interactions
Niklas Wahlberg: working on the systematics of the Lepidoptera, with a focus on Nymphalidae
Ward Watt: studying the biochemical and physiological mechanisms of genetic variation, and the resulting patterns of evolution of metabolic organization
